I Have A White Oblong Pill With No Markings At All

I need to find out what pill is white and oblong with no markings at all. I want to know what this drug is for?

Objectively, the best way to identify a pill with no markings is to have its contents analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel. Otherwise the description is too broad to match anything in particular, with potentially hundreds or thousands of possibilities ranging from over the counter supplements, foreign medication or counterfeit/illicit drugs... One thing is for certain though, and that is the FDA requires all US pharmaceuticals to bear an imprint/marking for identification. Without that, one can be certain it's not a legitimate US 'prescription' drug.

Some information that may also help us narrow down search results is where the pill was found or who you got it from, as well as other details relating to its origin.

I found similar white oval pills with no markings on either sides that I found in a prescription bottle labeled hydrocodone/acetaminophen for my grandmother in our medicine cabinet. I'm worried about her. It's a big tablet that is elliptical-oval shaped with what looks like a tiny-short "wall" around the circumference and a smoothness on the wider sides that should have an imprint. I did give one a lick to get a better idea of the texture and taste. It's not bitter like most opiates, but it is sweet and desolves fast leaving a white residue on anything that the wet part touches (i.e. Fingers, tongue etc.) That's as detailed as I can be... what does anyone think?
