I Had A Question, Can Anyone Give Me An Correct Answer?

I got shot 3 yrs. ago and I have problems sleeping, I work long hours and have a problem winding down so I took some zanax to sleep. I took 10 of them in a week. It's been a week since I took them. I have a urine test next for work, will it be out of my blood by then? because they my do a blood test.

Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, which is a Benzodiazepine and they can be detectable in urine for approximately 6 weeks, after last dosing, but in blood they are only detectable for approximately 3 days.

The time frame can vary from person to person, depending on your overall health, metabolism, fluid intake, activity levels and etc. but those are the average times for most people.

If you have a prescription, however, there is no need to worry, you simply need to inform them of that, when you go in for testing.
