Hi Saja,
From what I understand, it is possible for you to miss a period if you take birth control on the first day of your menstrual cycle.
However, hormones can affect different people in different ways, whereas some women will menstruate regularly and some won't.
I don't think there is any harm in skipping, but if you are concerned about it, you should probably consult your doctor.
As far as getting pregnant goes, I believe you are susceptible to pregnancy the day you stop taking it. Although the drug itself may still take a while to leave your system.
