I Am Worried That Doxiclat 100mg Is Not Working

I have had Urithritis going on almost 2 months. I have been tested for all major STDs and have come back negative. I have been put on Ciproflaxion and 2 rounds of Azithromycin... The symptoms go for a while but end up coming back. The urologist suspects it to be Mycoplasma Genitaliam and has put me on Doxiclat 200mg a 1 xday for 2 weeks. I am on day 4 and still have the symptoms of Urithritis... does this mean its not working either?

This is another antibiotic, it contains the active ingredient Doxycycline. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Has your doctor looked into possible viral causes? If you've contracted a virus, then an antibiotic will not help.

Are you on any other medications?

Have they checked for kidney stones?
