I Am Worried Celexa Is Not Working

I have been on celexa since June for gad and depression. First 10 mgs, felt good for a few days, then 20 for two weeks began to feel better for more days, but still not 100 percent. Now on 40 mgs and still do not feel good for two weeks. In the past I have taken Lexapro and zoloft which worked for a few years then stopped working. They both kicked in within 10 days of takingI cannot take Effexor as it raises my blood pressure. I am thinking this maynot be working. I am scared

How long have you been taking the current dose?

It usually takes 3 to 5 weeks for this medication to reach its full level of efficacy in your body, so you may just have to give it more time.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.
