The burning could be the symptom of a urinary tract or bladder infection, according to the NIH.
Are you on any medications? Have you consulted your doctor?
It it is an infection, you'll need to take an antibiotic to eradicate it. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
