I Want To Discuss About Lisinopril

lisinopril is all new medication for me, i started to taking two days ago, and I coughing a lot during the night time, besides i can sleep well.Is this a side effect
I would like to know if there is more side effects for this medicationthe. #3 pill that my doctor has changed in less than a year.

Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

And yes, the cough and sleep disturbances can be normal side effects of it, along with headache and stomach pain.

Have you talked to your doctor about the coughing? I'm sorry to say that it usually doesn't go away and most people that experience, including myself, end up having to switch off of this medication to something else.

I called this morning to my doctor to let him know that the new medication Lisinopril gave me the constant coghing during the night and day time. His answer was, that I should wait few weeks at least 4 weeks to make sure if the side effects continues he will give
me a new medication, and I noticed that my feet are swolled. Should I wait to long to change for a new medication
