I Ve Been Prescribed Metoprolol Tartate And Then Along With It6 Take Lisinoprol

why prescribed 2 BP meds. Metoprolol Tartate 12.5mg 2x daily and a 20 mg tab of Lisinopril once a day.

More than one medication is often prescribed, if someone's blood pressure still shows elevation and one medication isn't doing the job by itself.

Metoprolol is a beta blocker and the Lisinopril is aACE inhibitor and combining two different hypertension medications like this may result in better lowering and control of blood pressure.
