I Need A Methadone Doctor In Northern California

Please help...If you know of a doctor in northern california who will prescribe methadone around 180 monthly for a severe spinal injury, please let me know. I am a good man with kids just trying to live a normal life..I have great medical coverage but cant find a doc that will help ...thank you and bless your family.

The biggest problem you may be having is trying to ask a doctor for a specific medication. Any doctor can prescribe Methadone for pain, but if you're specifically asking for it, then they see that as drug seeking behavior.

The best thing you can do is to go see a new doctor and make sure that they are sent, or that you take with you, a full copy of your medical records. If they can see the diagnoses and what works to help you, as has been documented by a fellow physician, they will be much more prone to prescribe according.

can you get to marin county or vallejo. I know 2 places that address the pain. noone likes sharing but I am happy too.

So why can't we tell the new doctor all the information of where to get the records of the medications that worked for me by faxing or something? I'm having a really hard time getting on the right meds and now I'm going to a brand new doctor. Is it better if I bring all of my records? Is it more likely I will get my medication? Please help me if you can. Thanks.

I need help! I’ve been on Methadone for 12 years responsibly. I take this for pain management only. I don’t feel high. Because of this opioid crisis, my doctor had abandoned me. I am bedridden now and feel hopeless. I’m in Northern California and I’m sincerely hoping someone might know of an outlet for where I might be able to find a doctor that will help me. I really need to have my life back again!
