I Just Started Taking My First Pack Of Birth Control Pills Yesterday And Im Not Fully Protected Yet B

i just would like to know if even though i only took one pill yesterday my first pack of birth control. my doctor said it takes a week to be protected but i had unprotected sex today and im not protected yet, so i took the morning after pill with my second pill today. please tell me if you can do you know if im protected now from pregnancy.

Based on your description, I would not think that you would be protected in such a short time. Most birth control pills can take a minimum of a week to as long as a month to be in full effect within your system, so having unprotected sex after the second day is taking a big risk in my honest opinion.

Have you brought this up with you doctor yet?
