I have been taking Cipralex/Lexamil 20mg for a number of years and would like to come off them.
I am currently taking one every other day.
I would like a tapering off plan as I am not sure how long it takes to come off them? I know its gradual but is it weeks or months? Thank you

just keep slowly reducing you intake of the med. for each decrease in the amount of the dose say you want to go from 20 to 10, you will have to take about one to two months slowly decreasing the frequency when you take it. say you start with one day for two weeks then two days and so on until you get it down to taking only 5mg once a week then cut that in half and taper that off for about a month and then just stop altogether. I did that when i was taking 1000mg of oxycontin a day. it takes awhile but it does work and you usually don't get sick. good luck and be careful
