I have been ;on tamoxifen for 5 yrs. due to breast cancer. I gained 40 pounds. Will I lose weight when I get off the tamoxifen. I am getting off next month.

Well, it's really going to depend on whether or not the Tamoxifen was the sole contributor to the weight gain, but either way a good diet plan and exercise will certainly help.

Have you discussed it with your doctor? They would be best able to advise you on the safest and healthiest ways for you to lose the weight.
