I am using serta-25, betacap-20 and minizep-2 from 20days. Before going to doctor, we planned for prgnency. now i am afraiding that if get prgnency, will it efects the foetus. Please suggest. Waiting for your reply. Thank you in advance.

I have a throat infection dr has prescribed me to take betacap 20 three times a day n piragram L for one time at night...I already taken these medicines for7 days I wanted to stop taking these medicines... Can I stop them after 10 days or how can I stop taking these medicines at the earliest

Both the Imipramine and Diazepam are in pregnancy category D in the USA. This is definitely a medication that you should be careful taking, and your doctor needs to be made aware if you are pregnant! Category D states "Known risk of damage to fetus". I don't want to alarm you or anything, but please work closely with your doctor. I wish you the best health!

Minizep-2 contains Imipramine Hcl & Diazepam.

Please let me know the affect of this drug on fetus.

Serta-25 contains the active ingredient Sertraline, which is currently in pregnancy category C. More details about this drug during pregnancy: Sertraline Details: In pregnancy and lactation

Betacap-20 contains Propranolol Hydrochloride and is also in pregnancy category C. Propranolol: Pregnancy and lactation

Lastly, I cannot seem to find any information on Minizep - can you double check the spelling or post the ingredient(s)?

Pregnancy Category C is classified as: "Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks."
