I have been on Tramadol for at least 9 years now, I am SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO NSAIDS, and do not like most Narcotic pain meds as they make me feel "yucky". They just took Tramadol off of the $4 list at wal-mart, and Tramadol is expensive, being allergic to NSAIDS is causing major problems in getting pain relief for me, what else can I take for pain that is not an NSAID, and inexpensive????

You can use this chart to determine what other options you have as far as switching over to a stronger or less expensive medication (odds are though, if you want something higher up on this list, it will likely be more expensive):

You may also want to talk to your doctor to see which one of those drugs is best suited for your condition; and ask him about average costs for each one your interested in trying.

47j old. 10 y long 60 mg/day metadone. Several times and yunger ok. Now i HAVE TO STOP...NOW. But: Again 20-30 days, 24/24h with a pain so strong. Plus an accident (Shoulder in 12 pieces). Beginning 2012, i have to working. Far away from Switzerland. And the best for treating my pain is using opiates, powerful.
