If the patient is being treeated for hypertension should she take this medication?

Has the patients doctor advised them that the medication is necessary?

Also, what other medications are they taking?

Doxycycline is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent infections. If their doctor approves, then they should take it, because the ramifications and health risks of leaving an infection untreated can be far more severe than the risks of using the medication.

However, this does not apply if it is contraindicated with other health conditions, or other medications.
