UpdatedIf I'm allergic to sulfa, can I take Hyoscyamine Su?

Hi Shannan,
Hyoscyamine Su does actually stand for Hyoscyamine Sulfate, so in my opinion it wouldn't be wise for you to take this pill. Hyoscyamine comes as a tablet, an extended-release (long-acting) capsule, and as a liquid to take by mouth, so it seems like there should be other options that allow you to continue taking this medication without jeopardizing your well-being.
Is there anyway you can talk to the pharmacy about changing scripts?
