Hydroxyzpam Active Ingredient?

My prescription is for Hydroxyzpam (gen. for Vistaril) but most websites and other sources say that it is Hdroxyzine as the active ingrediant.
Are they both the same thing?

The drug Vistaril contains the active ingredient Hydroxyzine, and it appears that Hydroxypam may be a different brand name?

Thanks for answering Roy. I had a few bad days, due to not having anymore meds and a dead laptop, so I couldn't be on for awhile.

Roy is correct. They are the same thing, same active ingredient. You just have the generic version, which some companies do choose to name, rather than just call it by the generic drug name.
