Hydroxyzine is used primarily as an antihistamine for the treatment of itches and irritations, an antiemetic for the reduction of nausea, as a weak analgesic by itself and as an opioid potentiator, and as an anxiolytic for the treatment of anxiety. Several adverse reactions have been noted in manufacturer guidelines, such as deep sleep, incoordination and dizziness have been reported in children and adults, as well as others such as hypotension, tinnitus and headaches. What is this pill used for? ## Did you mean a two-tone green capsule? If so, it contains 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, the active ingredient in Vistaril. This is an antihistamine used to treat allergies, nausea and for its general calming effects. (NDC 0185-0674). Side effects may include: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. It will not, however, help with any type of pain. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - D&C Yellow No. 10 - FD&C Green No. 3 - FD&C Yellow No. 6 - Gelatin - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Titanium Dioxide - Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (Type H) - FD&C Blue No. 1 - FD&C Blue No. 2 - FD&C Red No. 40 - Shellac - Ferrosoferric Oxide Ref: DailyMed

has anyone had an decrese in there sex drive while taking this medication? Since i have started taking this i have none. ## Yes, i have had the same problem now for a long time. This drug does in fact cause a decrease in your sex drive ## Same here. Glad this site was up. Having all sorts of issues after recent hospital stay. ## My doctor prescribed this drug to me.
