I'm young an have to take these white hydrocodone pills (two at a time) I'm scared I will be " messed up " like all my friends are saying? I need help.. ## Hi, True! How are you? What do you mean by saying that you 'have' to take them? Even if your doctor has prescribed them, that doesn't mean that you are obligated to take them, that decision is ultimately up to you. And I am also not sure what you mean by 'messed up'? Could you please post back and clarify? Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

I AM VERY ALLERGIC TO NORCO AND THE BOTTLE READS MFG WATSON AND THE PILL IS WHITE OVAL WITH SCORE ACROSS CENTER ON ONE SIDE AND WATSON 3203 ON THE OTHER. IS THIS THE TRUE LORTAB? I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH PLAIN OLD LORTAB SO HOPE THIS IS NOT A GENERIC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. ## WATSON 3203 contains Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are both in Lortab. Lortab is the Brand Name. ## Yes, the ones with the WATSON 3203 marking on them are a generic, just as BL has stated. The name brand Lortab uses the ucb logo on them, with numbers on the opposite sides. Learn more Lortab details here. But these are the same ingredients that are in Norco, so if you're allergic to one, you should also be allergic to Lortab, Vicodin and the generics. What typ...

I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ...

Well Kroger changed the mfg on my hydro 10/325 should I be worried? I was taking the yellow hydros. ## Mallinckrodt is a legitimate pharmaceutical company. The color/dye has been removed from the hydrocodone and acetaminophen combination products by all of the pharmaceutical companies. ## we are seeking a new supplier for our pain medication -- we are both 78 years old and moved from Michigan where there are no restrictions to New York where they have made it so clumbersome for the doctors to prescribe that they have just decided to fight back and stop prescribing all together -- my wife and I have chronic pain and need new supplier - doctor tells us to suck it up and go sit in sun and that is exact quote. Need 1500 hydrocodone 10/325 or equivalent every 90 days - but the best alternati...

blue capsule ## There is no such thing as hydrocodone 100mg, and telling us that it is a blue capsue does not help, (unfortunately.) What is the imprint on the blue capsule? This will help us to identify it. ## I have been taking 100mg of Hydrocodone with 100mg of Tylenol for abt 6 years. It is compounded locally. Only compounded dose can come that high. I take 1 evry 8 hours. There are no markings on the capsule and there wont be for compounded meds. ## That is correct, the manufactured versions are only available in a max of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, however, some doctor's do use compounding pharmacies to have medications done for their patients in special amounts. It will still carry common side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Did you have any que...

What should lab results read if taking five hydrocodone 10/325 a day? ## It depends on the test. It should show hydrocodone and it may show the amount. The tests can show the meds and the concentration of them shows how you're taking them.

i was given the above for pain when i had a knee replaced, now i'm going for the other one and the doctor told me to stop taking diclofenac and my replaced knee is killing me when i walk. is the above pill (subject)contain any blood thinners???? ## Hi, Jack! Sorry about the pain that you're in. The two ingredients are 7.5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The Acetaminophen can have some slight blood thinning effect, so I'd suggest checking with your doctor, before taking it, to see if it is safe for you to do so. Learn more Lortab details here. Since it contains a narcotic, it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, dizziness and constipation. Is this product Gluten Free? Does the filler formula change depending on when it is manufactured? Is there a risk for cross contamination during the manufacturing of this product or at any other time before the patient fills a prescription? ## I have been allergic to gluten for 15 years now, and I have been taking it for the past 3 years, so I am assuming it is safe or I would have known it, by my throat and tongue swelling up. I don't know about a risk of cross contamination...but so far I have not had any problems. ## Based on my research, each Hydrocodone 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg tablet (from Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized ...

I have been taking hydrocodone APAP 5/325 for knee and joint pain(1-2 tabs. approximately 3-times weekly) for the past 6 months with limited side effects ( sweating). 2 days ago, I began to have severe dizziness, nausea, sweating approximately 1-2 hours after taking a dosage of 1-2 pills. I cannot find any difference in medications, habits, etc. that may be contributing to the sudden onset of the otherwise common side effects. Is it common for side effects to manifest themselves after no problems for 6 months? ## I wouldn't say it is common, but yes, it can happen, allergic reactions can also happen unexpectedly, even after having used something for a long time. Did you suddenly get a different generic from your pharmacy? The FDA does allow generics to differ, in the active ingredie...

Which pill is stronger? M363 or m362? BC the both contain the same amount of hydrocodone but one has 160mg of acetaminophen? But that's in ibuprofen and ibuprofen doesn't ever help me with pain?? ## Neither tablet contains Ibuprofen. M 362 contains 10 mgs Hydrocodone/660 mgs Acetaminophen. M 363 contains 10 mgs Hydrocodone/500m mgs Acetaminophen ## BL is correct. Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen are two different medications. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. And in these combination medications, neither one of them is actually expected to help your pain, so to speak. They are actually used, because they augment the effects of the narcotic and help it to work better to relieve pain. Learn more Vicodin details here. And in regards to the Acetami...

is there a difference in the quality of brand name(hydrocodone/ vicodin )vs- lortab as being better than the next one. : Watson -vs- generic. I used to be prescribed Watson and found them to be better, stronger and more effective then the generic. Why did they change the name from Hydrocodone/ aka: vicodin, to lortab? why change the color and shapes of the medicine. it seems each month I am script a different color . Can doctors or pharmacy's give you PHONEY medication to help you withdraw. Can you be denied scripts COLD TURKEY on these addictive meds when in reality your pain level dictates a potential LIFE of pain, consequently a life of medication to curtain the pain ## Hi, Frenchy! Did waston quit making the green 10/650?this is what my pharmacist told me when I got my last script, gave me a flat white pill that does nothing to relieve my pain. ## HI, Flash! Sorry that you're so miserable, I do understand. There are actually two issues at play here…. The first is that Watson had some issues with customers being sensitive/allergic to the dyes in their products, so they have been changing them to remove the dyes and, while they claim that is the only change that's been made, many people are complaining that they are no longer effective at treating pain. The second issue is that due to concerns over overdose toxicity and the possibility of liver damage from long term use of high amounts, the FDA has requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Ac...

Are these the real narcos 10 Mg because it has Watson on one side and 357 on the other ## Hi, Nonnie! How are you? No, there are no tablets listed with WATSON 357 on them, at all, neither among the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen tablets, or any others. Where was it found? Can you please double check the imprint? ## There is a Watson with M 357 on one side and the other side is scored, it's a white oblong tablet. It is Hydrocodone 5mg/Acetaminophen 500mg. ## For being a moderator Verwon, you should know that M357 DOES exist. It is in fact NORCO 5 ml. ## The old pills say Watson on one side & M357 on the other. ## hedda1227, Verwon was going by exactly what was described. None of us is perfect.

I just got back from wallGreens in yonkers and they would not fill my prescription on hydrocodone 150qty 10 -660 .They told me there is a new law I can only get 120quanity per month of me hydrocone10-660.Is this really a new law? thanks ## It may be because of the Tylenol, depending on how you're suppose to take it. The FDA had recommended that max amount of Tylenol in 24 hrs be no more than 4,000 mgs. The only New Law governing Hydrocodone is in New York and it went into effect at the end of Feb 2013. It states that all hydrocodone combination products are now Schedule II. Which means no refills and it can't be called in. ## The law regarding the quantity actually isn't a new one, it was just not being enforced. However, in light of the ever increasing rates of theft, abuse...

L484 white oblong. I may have mixed up Tylenol and hydrocodone in the same bottle ## Hi, Kathy! How are you? The tablet with the L 484 marking contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, so it's a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. In the future, it would probably be best to leave them in their appropriate bottles, to avoid possibly dangerous mix-ups. Is there anything else I can help with?

have a pink almost oval pill with M or W on one side, the other side just has a slash down middle, possibly foreign. my mom says it is hydrocodone 10, any idea. ## Hi, Lowwey! Where did you find it? I've done some searching, but haven't found anything that matches this, so far. If it's foreign, that could explain, since most other countries don't have an imprint requirement like the U.S. and Canada. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep looking and post back when I have information for you.

I used this treatment for more than three years. For almost a year the color of this treatment was pink but it was very expensive. I have been changed to the same treatment, but cheaper medicine, the color is light blue. I went to another pharmacy and they told me the treatment colors vary (white). My question is, is there a difference between them and are any of them better than the other? ## Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic, one of the name brands for it would be Vicodin. And when something is available as a generic, it's usually made by several different companies and there are no rules on how the tablets have to look, or what color they have to be. That's entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Learn more Vicodin details here. There is also no way to...

a white with little pink poke-a-dotted pill with the imprint of v on one side the other side the imprint of 3604 ## found a round white pill with little pink poke-a-dots with the imprint of a V only on one side. ## This is a pill with hydrocodone and acetaminophen, take one every 6-8 hours as needed for pain ## The identification provided is correct, but just to add some more specifics on the dosage, this tablet contains 325mgs of the Acetaminophen and 5mgs of the Hydrocodone, it is a narcotic pain reliever. It is often prescribed under brand names, such as Norco or Vicodin. Since it contains a narcotic, it may be habit forming and can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. You can learn more Vicodin details here.
