I'm not addicted, I only take them when needed, so what should I do? I also use them for bad toothaches. ## Hi Shandra, Sorry to hear about your situation with migraines. Seeing as you're no longer being prescribed hydrocodone, my advice would be to try out some other alternatives. According to Dr. Oz, ginger tea, peppermint oil, and capsaicin cream (cayenne pepper) make for excellent migraine remedies. My research also yielded results for black cumin seed oil (nigella sativa) that you can simply apply on the back of your neck, over your eyes and at the hairline for relief. Nigella sativa also doubles as a toothache remedy. Though I'd also encourage you to try clove oil for that. The...
Hi I was prescribed hydrocod/apap elix 7.5/500 sol. I was wondering what the dose would be to be equal to the 7.5 hydrocodone pill. ## It is exactly equivalent, the intention of it is to give 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen in each dose. Side effects will also be the same and may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Are there any comments or questions? ## is the liquid hydrocodone 7.5 500 equal to the pills 7.5? ## is there any where i can get my perscription for liquid loratab filled 500mg ## I am having a problem getting my hubby's Lortab Elixir script filled. Neither RiteAid or Walgreens can get it. Do you know why? He had 35 radiation treatment on his jaw and can't eat without taking a half dose before meal. It's going to be an emergenc...
The Dr. has currently changed my pain medication to Hydroco/Acetamin 10-325MG TAB MALLK C which is a generic for NORCO 10-325 TAB. I am very allergic to Sulfa & Sulfate drugs does this have any type of Sulfa or Sulfates in it? The Sufa/Sulfate drugs cause me to get a bladder and kidney infection to the point I have to be hospitalized. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? What specific sulfa drug did you have an allergic reaction? Is your doctor and pharmacy aware of it, so they can check for any problems for you? ## I'm just trying to find out how much penicillin VI is in the Norco Watson tabs and how will it affect my life?
I have lower back pain and hip pain. I would like to order the hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 TB ## Hello, CupCake! How are you? This website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products, it is an information only resource. In the U.S. this medication is a controlled substance, which requires a doctor's prescription and regular monitoring for use. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a doctor you see regularly that may be able to help you?
I have two pills they both have V on one side and 3605 on the other side but are two different colors of orange which one is real ## Also one is flat and one is glossy ## Hello, Maria! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they also show there being 3 different shades of orange, with two of them being coated and glossy, so all are real. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Can I take mylan 5050 and hydrocodone together? ## Hello, Sam! How are you? You can, as long as your doctor has prescribed them both and approves of you taking them. Temazepam is classified by the FDA as a hypnotic benzodiazepine that is most commonly used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Thus, it can increase sedation, which the Hydrocodone can also do, so these shouldn't be taken together, without a doctor's approval. Both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
My mother has a prescription that reads TAKE 1 TABLET UP TO 4-5 TIMES DAILY for 60 pills. The pharmacy said this is for a 15 day supply but she has to take 5 tablets a day which is a 12 days supply and not a 14 day supply like the doctor has prescribed her? Then she is told that it is technically a day early? Why is this pharmacy doing this? ## Hello, Panama! How are you? It's not the pharmacy that's doing it, that's the way the doctor wrote it. Being written that she can take up 4 to 5 tablets daily, generally means that the doctor isn't expecting her to need to take 5 tablets each day, there are some days they expect her to need less than that. It's normal for any medication that's written to be taken on an 'as needed' basis. If the doctor meant for her...
Actually I have been taking them for about 9 months after the Watson (Norco) sold the company and made changes to their medication, they claim all they did was remove the yellow dye! BS the medication sucks, it's useless! On to aurobindo, they have worked for the last months as a good replacement however my latest refill, they are horrible, ineffective with headaches, I am guessing greed stepped in and the company made some changes, because these too are now useless! They will learn an expensive lesson as others will turn away from them as I now will. For some reason the pharm industry has less concern for the patient "customer" than any other, they think they can do as they please. ## @webhead, I agree with what you said about the pharmaceutical industry expressing less con...
What do i do to.get suboxen from.dr.curremtly taking narcos,i heard suboxen are better as far as pain.that you dont have.to take as many ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Suboxone is actually a very weak opiate and doesn't adequately relieve pain for many people. Many have reported going on it and finding that they were in miserable pain, after switching. The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are the Norco helping your pain? ## Hello I'm currently on opiates for pain. I have been that way for yrs now an I was told that liquid methadone well they call methadone suboxone strips or tablets an Subutex...
I've got the white Watson 853's. I also feel less pain relief from them. I also have mild signs of withdrawal moderate head ache, nervousness and shaking. If indeed they were 10/325 they'd at least care of a head ache. Right? Not having the oringinal prescription I can't read the micro print to see if they're a placebo. Doctors do prescribe placebos to see if you're in pain or not. I fact I can could spend hours telling you what kind of games/tricks that doctors will play. I know because I've been treated for chronic pain since 1996. Some doctor are worse than others. But, it always comes down to them not wanting their names appearing on a DEA agents desk. Many pain doctors won't prescribe cause they're needle jockies. At a pain clinic the CNP prescri...
I took 5 hydro 5 Saturday and Sunday morning I took 2 Perocet 10 today. will the hyrdos be gone by Tuesday ## Normally it takes 3-5 days to clear your system depending on how much you take ...the only thing I can suggest is drink lots of water I myself would use fake urin...good luck ## I'm prescribed four 10/325 mg of oxycodone a day, i took four 10/325mg of hydrocodone on saturday from an old prescription, i have to take a urine test on Wednesday afternoon for my Dr's appointment, will the hydrocodone show up in the urine test?
I have a large, very painful hemangioma on my S1. I have been given hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325,ibuphrophen 800 mg, gabapentin, 300 mg and Tizanidine 4 mg which helps. Over the weekend, I have run out of Tizanidine and am in a lot of pain, also the sciatica is the worst. I was wondering if I could take naproxyn 500 mg to see me through the two days. ## Can Naproxyn be taken instead of Tizanidine? ## Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory and should Not be taken if you're taking ibuprofen or another anti-inflammatory drugs. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxer. ## @Shirley, If you're considering an alternative to the Tizanidine (muscle relaxer) for those times when you run out, I think it might be a good idea to look into research on effective doses of Valerian root which is also revere...
Is the Watson 325 10 mg the same as the UO3 325 10 mg pill? The Watson pill is yellow and the UO3 pill is white. Watson has its name on the pill and UO3 does not. I'm confused. ## Did you mean a marking of ucb? They are just two different manufactures, Watson Pharmaceuticals and UCB Pharma, Inc. This is a generic for Vicodin, Lortab or Norco and once a medication is available as a generic, it's usually manufactured by several different companies, it basically helps to keep prices down by creating market competition. You can learn more Vicodin details here. But from what you've listed in your post, the medication and dosages are the same. Is there anything else I can help with? ## They are not the same..U03, I threw up several times, slept, and it did not help pain!!!
I am trying to find out how many Tylenol codein 300-30 I would need to take to be equilivant to Norco 10-325 ? I have had a different prescription and I want to make sure I am not over doing the codein ## Hello, Ruth! How are you? Each 30mgs of Codeine is equivalent to 4.5mgs of the Hydrocodone, so taking one Norco 10/325 is actually over twice as strong. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I would like to order. I need prices. ## Hello, Dine! How are you? This site does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only resource. How long does it take for the side effects to wear off from the initial dosage? ## The half-life of Hydrocodone is just a little under 4 hours and for it to be completely processed from your body takes between 5 to 6 half-lives, so 20 to 24 hours. Learn more Vicodin details here. Did you have a problem with it? The effects should really ease up before then, but they can linger for awhile. ## Ok Thanks ## I have a toothache and I have this pill but don't remember if it is for infection Hydroco/apap tab 5-325 mg
My pain specialist prescribes Hydrocodone 7.5/325, 90 pills per month. He gives me scripts that are post dated, 3 months at a time. My refill date is the 1st of every month. My question is this... the script is a 30 day supply and since July has 31 days in it, can I get them refilled on July 31st instead of waiting until August 1st? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help to my question.... ## Hello, Clatono! How are you? Yes, you should be able to get it filled on the 31st. Ultimately, it's up to your pharmacy, but there shouldn't be any problem. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help...
I fell and damaged 6 disc in my spine. I had surgery on 2 disc and was given hydrocodone apap which was yellow with a V on one side and 3601 on the other side. I was later given the same prescription, but the pill was white and had IP 110 on it. The yellow stopped the pain with no side effects. The white makes me feel drugged and nauseous. What is the difference? I have also be give a 7.5 of the same medication. It is white with U02 on it. It makes me feel the same way as the white 10/325 does. Who are the manufacturers? Please help!!! ## Hello, Marie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. The tablet with the 3601 V marking is manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals, the tablet with the IP 110 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, both of these ...
Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to
Hello I've looking around for a pain management place and I heard good things about Acworth Pain management that they are good about giving you good meds that work and I was just wondering if anyone knew anything more about this place because I'm a baseball player and Ive been playing for Rome Braves for two seasons until I toor my rotator cuff and my team doctors and others have been telling that there's not a good chance I will be able to have a career as long as others and that they could only manage the pain so I've been taking hydrocodone 10 mg and they seem to work real well but one of my buddy's told me that acworth pain was better about giving out this type of medication than others because the team doc is kinda reluctant to give this out so I figured I would tr
