A Dr prescribed this to my husband in Mexico for a hip pain that he's been having, but he's been working for a year at a company that gives drug panels. He had a prescription given to him here which is hydrocodone. Will he have any issues with his employer? ## Hello, Mar! How are you? No, Ardosons doesn't contain anything he'd need to worry about. The FDA lists the active ingredients as including Indomethacin, Betamethasone and Methocarbamol, which in order are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, a steroid and a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, weight gain, acne and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Will I fail a drug panel (hair follicle or a U/A) while taking Ardos...

Male 210lbs - takes whatever whenever, but is taking over a dozen hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pills in 24 hours. Is that bad? What's bound to happen?...What if he takes oxycodone 15mg also? ## Hello, From what I am seeing, daily consumption of hydrocodone should not exceed 40 milligrams in patients not tolerant to opiates. The PDR from 2006 states that Norco 10, containing 10 milligrams of hydrocodone and 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen) can be taken at a dosage of up to twelve tablets per day (120 mg of hydrocodone). This restriction is only limited by the fact that twelve tablets, each containing 325 mg of APAP (Acetaminophen), puts the patient right below the 24-hour FDA maximum of 4,000 mg of APAP. Some specially compounded products are routinely given to chronic pain patients in ...

I read that the yellow norcos have dye and the white norcos don't. One is fat soluble and the other is water soluble. What's the difference? ## What pharm in chandler az still carries the white 7.5 hydrocodene ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Are you asking about the ones that were yellow, but are now white? If so, then the only difference is the removal of the dye, nothing else. Nik, I saw your other post and I'm sorry, but the ones with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them are no longer being manufactured, so you can't obtain them, anywhere. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## YOU ARE WRONG V...

"Here" is the link to a picture of mine (left hand side) and the same one I found online next to it. The one I have is on the left. The one on the right is a picture I got off of the web. Every single picture I could find online looked the same shade of yellow and had the same font as the one in the left. Besides the different appearance, I can tell a difference after taking the yellow V (on one side) 3601 (on other) versus taking the white "Watson 853" (all on one side) which I have both of at the moment. I posted on photobucket the one I have and one from the web side to side. When you compare them mine is a slightly darker shade of yellow. It is also very lightly speckled with dark spots. The spots on them almost look like they got there from being in someone's po...

Can medication listed in title cause liver (Bilirubin) increases? My Bilirubin labs have been coming back at at 1.6-1.9. Can it be harmful in the long run? ## The APAP is medication speak for Acetaminophen and it is very well known that long-term use of it can have detrimental effects on the liver. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? If you require a narcotic analgesic, you may need to switch to something that doesn't have the Acetaminophen in it. ## Get off that crap. Acetaminophen will destroy your liver. You're getting 5 mg hydro & 500 acetaminophen. They make percocets in low doses and with no acetaminophen. It is in the oxycodone family... but it is usually not teamed with acetaminophen. ## What are the long term implications of taking Hydrocodone? Has anyone taken...

I have been prescribed Hydrocodone and would like to know how much I can safely take without worrying about an overdose. One pill is not touching the pain! ## In adults, the max dose of Hydrocodone is 60 mg/day or a max single dose of 15 mg. In children older than 12 years of age, the max dose of Hydrocodone is 45 mg/day or a max single dose of 10 mg. The usual adult dose is 2.5 to 7.5 mg of Hydrocodone every 4 to 6 hours. Editor's note: This refers to Hydrocodone by itself, not when taken in combination with other ingredients such as Acetaminophen. ## It really depends on how long you've been on it. Most patients can take 1-2 Hydrocodone every 6 hours as needed for pain. If it's 7.5/325 then you can safely take two but what other medications are you on? How much Tylenol is ...

What is a white oblong tablet with imprint 6037 on it? It this like vicodin? ## Hello, Jay! How are you? I think the marking you're looking at is actually G037. This tablet is manufactured by Tris Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so yes, it is a generic for Vicodin. (NDC 27808-0037) The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Ref: DailyMed ## Is this the same as LORTAB? ## Yes, the active ingredients are the same.

Does anyone feel that mall. Hydro 10/325 has changed? It used to work...now it just makes me REALLY tired? and they seem smaller?Im alergic to Amneal anything, so I downgraded to this one from Oxy. There just an not any good generics out there any longer, unless you can find Endocet? Ive been approved for brand. But the co pay is 450.00? I cannot handle that a month. Does anyone have good results with mallenkrodt Hydro 10? ## Hello, Dolly! How are you? No, there haven't been many complains about theirs, at all. You may have just grown tolerant to it, though. How long have you been taking it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## well,Dolly here! Ive b...

Good morning or afternoon all... Some years ago I was prescribed Oxycodone. Chronic lower back pain and in both legs. Had AFIB...hospitalized for weeks. Then developed blood clots. Asked doc to take me off of Oxycodone. Too strong. Tried Tramadol. Body didn't like it. Tried another. Still issues. Went to Hydrocodone / Acetaminophen 7.5 / 325. Better. Then tried Aurobindo. For me, it is great! 4 years now. No side effects, etc. A few months back Aurobindo was discontinued. Contacted the manufacturer. Might come back again, but who knows when. Anyway, I tried Mallinckrodt... body doesn't like it. Tried Rhodes...not as good for me as Aurobindo. But stuck with Rhodes. Any ideas who might still have Aurobindo? Not CVS, not Walmart, not Walgreens. Or I would try another brand. Suggest...

Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325 My Pharmacy Costco just slipped me 120 of these Oval Pills Marked U03. They are pure garbage. Headache within 20 minutes of taking and No Pain relief. My Losartan Potassium was switched to this company also 2 months ago, and I've had stomach problems since. Told Costco NEVER to dispense anything from this company. These Pills not only don't work, they give you a HEADACHE, Hydrocodone is suppose to take away pain not give you pain. ## The tablets with the U 03 marking contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 13107-0021). The FDA does warn that a headache can be a typical side effect of this medication, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation. Got severe stomach pain and constipation after my pharmacy switched to Aurobindo generic. Went back to the light yellow oblong tablet (mfr. unknown) and feel much better. Does anyone know what fillers Aurobindo uses? ## Hello, Richard! How are you? Those can be side effects of this medication, so it could be that the one from Aurobindo was slightly stronger than the others that you are used to, there is an allowable difference under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%, so it may not be related to the fillers, since generics don't have to measure against each other. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, ...

I have taken the triangular white pills with M on side 1 and 8 on side 2 or PD on side 1 and 8 on side 2. What would be the strongest version? ## The first you mentioned is not hydrocodone, it's actually hydromorphone. That is stronger, than say, a lortab or something with hydrocodone in it. Don't know about the second, but the first is pretty potent. ## I need a list of hydrocodone-apap 7.5mg/325 manufacturers, from best brand to least effective brand. Is Watson the best and if so, which brand is least effective? ## Did you ever get a response to your question asking for a list of manufactures of the hydrocodone? If you have this info, could you post it here please? I too am looking for several good manufacturers of medications, not just hydrocodone. I am currently taking a hyd...

Does anyone know of a doctor in Florida prescribing hydrocodone for chronic pain? ## Hello, Rasa! How are you? Due to the changes this month that switched this to a schedule 2 medication, most doctors are now refusing to prescribe it. And regardless of that, if your require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regular that may be able to refer you to someone? That might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ...

which helps more watson hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 compared to qualtest hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325??? ## To me the Watson is so much better the other I believe is a generic as they come I may be wrong but many other people agree with me! ## Watson! Qualitest was okay but Watso was always best for me.. Dr Reddy gave me bad effects, I won't touch that brand. ## Something to take into considering when making these kinds of comparisons is that each individual is prone to respond differently (due to many potential factors... such as body chemistry, age, weight, tolerance, metabolism, to name a few). So even if we had 1000 reviews in favor of Watson to go off of, this still only accounts a small percentage of patients out of millions perhaps who may or may not necessarily feel t...

My doc after looking at my MRI for my back, me having no insurance, sent me to a specialist that i can't afford. He stopped all pain pills and put me off to someone I can't pay to see. So after having pain problems since march of 2013 and being prescribed pain meds, it suddenly stops and he won't refill them. I found some vicodin 5-500 (hydrocodone-Acetaminophen ) from 2011 and wondered if I can still use them for my back pain. ## You could try, they probably won't be as strong. Just try 1at a time though, at 1st ## @sweeper2, This may come as a surprise, but according a study from Harvard Medical School, many medications can remain effective for even up to 15 years beyond their listed expiration date. I have not seen the actual list of drugs used in this study, but I...

Is the T133 imprint indicative of a real pain pill? I just got it prescribed and want to know before I put it in my body. I was on 7.5-325 Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen. My doctor said this would be better for pain. I have ms and I really hate taking pain medication. Thanks. ## Is the marking possibly T 193? If so, this tablet contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Percocet, which is a potent pain reliever. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## Is white oblong pill inscribed T133 percocet? ## Yes oblong or oval shape white t133

I've been taking Norco 7.5 for over 2 years. I have severe degenerative disc disease and arthritis in my neck. In the beginning I took as prescribed by as most people it eventually took more to do the job. I am now highly addicted. I can and will take up to 10-15 per day if I have it. I want to stop. I have to. This has taken over my life. I've tried several tines on my own and I just can't. I'm wondering should I talk to my pain management doctor about this or where should I turn? I fear she will cut me off all together and I can't go through the withdrawals by myself. I'm thinking suboxone but don't know where to start with that. I live in a small town in Alabama and don't have a lot if choice where doctors are concerned. Where should I start? Who shoul...

A few years ago I had a lung removed due to lung cancer. I was put on hydrocodone 7.5 500. I was off work for 10 weeks and in pain for several years including now. I found that stretching and massage therapy on the scar line and above and below the line all around my left side helps me with the pain. The pain is now tollerable. However getting off the hydrocodone is much more difficult than I thought. If I just quit, I take 4 a day, I get diarreha for several days. I can deal with that. But I get insomnia and restless and very tired and depressed. I end up back on the stuff in a few days because I feel so miserable and the soreness in my rib and shoulderblade gets worse. I really don't want to take this stuff but its really hard to get off. Any help appreciated. ## I have been takin...
