Hydrocodone Urine Test Levels

If I am prescribed a certain amount of Norco 10/325's, can the levels be detected in a urine test if I haven't taken as much as prescribed?

If urine drug levels of Hydrocodone are around 14,000, how much hydrocodone does this indicate that you take a day?

i recently got a new dr that upgraded me from hydrocodone 5's to 10's..4-8 times a day for a week trial. if i get urine tested he will see that I havent taken them all..if I take two 10's one the night b4 test and 1 in am will i test positive or will he ask why i havent taken the suggested amount. i have searched for hrs. with no definitive answer. i want to take as directed. i just havent yet trying 4 a day..then to 8. and i got so much done this week and feel better as the 5's dr of nine yrs was never upgraded..so i wasnt getting any relief. I want to keep the new dr. but im afraid he will see that i didnt just start taking 8 pills a day for the whole week as afraid of the acetaminophen was too much since i dont eat much. will the urine test show i didnt take them all..i have 12 left and am going to tell him that. this is scary because pharmisist said that this is a drug test to see if im selling them? I could not and would not do that. I do partake in marijuana a few puffs a nite. so question is: will i show positive for my hydro if i take one or two b4 appt? so confusing I am not liking being suspected of selling. I need them so why would i do that? i had no idea this was a trend im 62..we didnt take pills like these kids are now. Im alone and dont socialize much anymore. im freaking out over nothing? or am i going to be accused of not taking enough? Im buiilding up to it. i monitor myself. pls just tell me if i can pass positive by taking 3-4 hrs b4 appt?

I don't take mine like I'm supposed to either but some days I need more and other days I can take two and be comftorble. I think I'm going to have a drug test tomorrow and im kinda worried about the level thing lol .

Yes it can because my test was the same,i take them 3 times a day and had a urine test done and the Dr said it showed i was either taking to many or not enough,if a person hurt like i do they will take it 3 time's a day and I told Dr that,but he seems to think different,had another test done the following month they didn't tell me the results,its really aggravating when you know you are taking them right and the Dr say's different,its something to do with the metabolites in the test that shows how much a person takes.

Looking for same response. I just started taking Percocet 5-325 and I go to pain med Dr this week. The first few days I took too many because for once in years I was pain free but started taking them correctly after then. Now I'm 3 days short. How will my levels show up on a urine test if I take apropos tell for 5 days prior to Dr appt

Does your script say take that many a day or as needed?I am suppose to take 10 mg of Norco's 3 times a day as needed,i was drug tested 2 months in a row and the first month the Dr said that it showed that I was either taking to many or not enough,i take mine 3 times a day because the pain is so bad,i could not believe he even said that and I told him that can't be right because I do take them 3 times a day,so the nxt month another drug test and before I went i took 2 before going but not at same time about an hour apart and the last time I went was just this month he didn't say anything about the last test,so i am guessing that because I took the 2 before going it showed up that I was taking them as prescribed,if your script is as needed then you have nothing to worry about,it has something to do with the metabolites in the drug test that shows how much you are taking,just be honest with your Dr and explain to him that you was scared to take that many at first,usual they will understand,if not the best thing I would suggest is the nxt time you go to Dr take like prescribed the day before then take 2 the morning of,i hoped this helped and good luck to you hun.

The answer to your question is yes it can,i take them 3 times a day as needed and i always take them 3 times a day,but when I went for my drug test the nxt month the test showed that I was either taking to many or not enough,i looked at the Dr like he was crazy and told him that could not be right,i am always honest with all of my Dr's,so the nxt month the day of the drug test i took 2 of them that morning and when I went back this month nothing was said about my last test,but yes it can show up that a person either takes to many or not enough,it has something to do with the metabolites in the test.Hope this was helpful and good luck hun.

I am prescribed 10/325 four times a day and I haven't been taking them correctly. If I start taking them correctly, will my levels be right in three to four days?

I have been prescribed norco 10 / 325 for over 15 years, 6 a day. With the new dea rules, do md's check for levels of the drug in urine or blood?

Was just at my pain management appointment and they couldn't give me my prescription because they said that my "levels are too low" again, in a urine sample. I have Ms and severely need these. I have taken as prescribed hydrocodone/apap 5-325, 3 times a day. How can this or why did it happen?

My level for a swab test for Norco was 178. Is that low? I take my prescribed medication like I'm supposed to and the dosage of Norco that I take is 7.5/325.

I just gave birth yesterday but the last two weeks of my pregnancy I took maybe a total of fourteen 10/325mg hydrocodone-acetaminophen pills; sometimes only half a day, maybe a full one. I took them for a really bad toothache. I'm still in the hospital and they just tested my son's meconium. Question is, will the low amount show up? And will my child be taken for this?
