Hydrocodone Still Making Me Sick
UpdatedMy Dr prescribed hydrocodone a month ago. I took one pill and immediately got extremely dizzy and nauseous. I did not take any more of them but am still dizzy and nauseous if I move too much or too fast. Even reading or watching tv and having things move is making me sick. I would like to know if this is normal or OK to still be dealing with this and what if anything could help?

No, it is not normal to continue experiencing such side effects, if you have not continued taking it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as being transient and they generally go away a week, or so after you stop taking it.
If you are still experiencing such issues, you need to have these issues checked out as it may be due to some other cause.
What was this medication prescribed to treat? Are you on any other medications?
