Hydrocodone/chlorpheniramine Kept In Refrigerator?

I'm not needing to take Hydrocodone/chlorpheniramine cough syrup at the moment. Can I store the bottle in the refrigerator just in case I may need it?

Only until the expiration date. Liquids tend to degrade faster than other forms, so you can't really extend its shelf life.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
