It's completely fine. Interaction checkers online consider cannabis to be a CNS depressant, which technically it is, and they have flagged it as a MAJOR interaction with hydrocodone. However, Cannabis is a psychedelic drug and thus delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) can have stimulant effects on some people. When I used to smoke it I was quite stimulated.
In general from experiences i've witnessed and heard of, this combination is actually pretty safe. Just use in moderation and don't abuse either and it should be fine. I've never heard of anyone being harmed by combining these two drugs.
