The abbreviation Hydroco/Apap 5-500mg stands for the active ingredients Hydrocodone 5mg + Acetaminophen (also known as APAP) 500 mg. This is a narcotic pain killer which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. It is generic for the drug Vicodin.

More common side effects may include dry mouth, itching, pinpoint pupils, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, confusion, gas / heartburn, or flushed skin.
