Hydrocodone/tylenol And Drinking

Can I drink 8 hours after having one pill of 5/325 Hydrocodone/Tylenol? I am only wanting to have a couple.

It is usually best to abstain from alcohol while taking any narcotic medication, especially one like this which also contains Acetaminophen/Tylenol. According to the NIH, both can be very harsh on the liver, so combining the two could result in liver damage, or failure.

The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
