Hydrocodone Syrup

i have a headache that seems to not respond to any pain medicine, but when i take hydrocodone alone, i get a little relief, is taking one spoon of hydrocodone every 4hours too much?

What is the dosage of the syrup and what has your doctor advised?

It is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours, as needed, but it really depends on the dosage, your tolerance and whether or not it also contains Acetaminophen, since too much of it in any 24 hour period can be toxic.
