Hydrocodone M367 Vs 176

I have Crohn’s disease so the 176 hydrocodone always have settled well with me, but today they gave me the M367, so as of right now I did not pick it up because I do not know if it is as strong. And I do not know how it digests. If anybody can answer this question as soon as possible I would appreciate it. Since I am out of pain medication I cannot get a hold of my doctors office. How are the M367?

Hello Worried69,

Nobody on the internet is going to be able to tell you accurately how these pills are going to react to you. The best I can do is provide you with a comparison of the two pills so that you can make an informed decision as to if you want to try these pills or not. All information I provide will be sourced from the National Institute of Health.

The M367 and the 176 pills both contain 10 mg of Hydrocodone Bitartrate and 325mg of Acetaminophen. Below is a list of the inactive ingredients in both of the medicines.

M367 Inactive Ingredients:

CROSPOVIDONE (15 MPA.S AT 5%)
MAGNESIUM STEARATE
MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE
POVIDONE
STARCH, CORN
SILICON DIOXIDE
STEARIC ACID

176 Inactive Ingredients:

CROSCARMELLOSE SODIUM
CROSPOVIDONE (15 MPA.S AT 5%)
MAGNESIUM STEARATE
CELLULOSE, MICROCRYSTALLINE
POVIDONE
STARCH, CORN
STEARIC ACID

So as you can see the only difference between these two medicines is that one of the new 176 pills contain the inactive ingredient croscarmellose sodium. This inactive ingredient is FDA approved for the use in drugs as a disintegrate agent.

So unless you have a crazy reaction to that one ingredient everything else should theoretically be the same as before. I hope this information helps, just let me know if I can help you further.
