How many mgs is M363 hydrocodone. I have some from long time of ago and I dont remember what the mgs are.

At this time, the tablet with the M 363 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, Norco or Lortab.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of the prescription combination medications that combine it with a narcotic be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs.
The reason this is being done is due to the risk of liver damage or failure associated with long-term use and the risk of overdose toxicity if someone takes too many in a day.
Some companies have already begun to implement the changes and the rest are slated to have theirs done by January of 2014.
Thus, please double check, before assuming that this tablet still contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen in the future.
