what color is the cough syrup suppose to be I sent someone to the drug store to pick up my prescription and dont know if i got my correct medicine or not

I get extremely drowsy when I take my daily dosage. I drop off anytime but mostly when I am reading. Also my mouth is extremely dry. So I have to drink water all through the nignt and secondly I have taken this cough medicine before and wasn't bothered. Right at this moment I want to take a nap.

The important thing is that the other prescription only has one word. (Hydrocodone Chlorphlopheniram)

I would call your Pharmacist, as they are able to answer your question. Certain, liquid medications in different colors and flavors are the same medication, with just flavoring and colors added.

I am sure you have seen different Pharmacies advertising that they are able to "give you a choice of flavor" for you, or your child. This flavoring will effect the color of the medication.
