Hydrocodone Apap 7.5mg 500mg 15ml

I GOT THIS MED FOR A CHECK INFECTION LAST YEAR. WHY CAN'T MY PHARMACIST FIND IT NOW AND HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO CHERATUSSION AC SYRUP?

The Hydrocodone APAP shows that it also contains Acetaminophen with the narcotic, this type of syrup/suspension is usually given to treat cough, fever and pain.

The only thing it would do for an infection is treat the pain and fever that it may cause, it wouldn't actually treat the infection itself.

The Cheratussin AC contains Codeine and Guaifenesin, so it isn't the same, because this would be used mostly to treat cough and cold symptoms.

Your pharmacist should be able to find the Hydrocodone/APAP, but do you actually have a prescription for it, or are you just asking them to find it?

If you're just asking about it, they may not be giving you accurate information, since the Hydrocodone is a narcotic.
