Hydrocodone Apap 5mg 500mg Expiration Date (Top voted first)

I have some Hydrocodone 5mg/500mg they expired 2009 would they still be ok to take?

Not true.
The Military just did tests on the efficacy of drug like this, and they all lasted about 80 YEARS.
No kidding. Look that up.
If stored properly, the efficacy should be the exact same even after 10 years.

This medication which is a generic for Vicodin doesn't get dangerous once it's past the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness, so after 3 years, they aren't likely to do much in the way of pain relief.
