Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 5 500 Tb And Tramadol

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis. Got Cortisone shots in my lumbar region and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-500 tb and Tramadol ER 200 mg from my rheumatologist. What is the Tramadol for? I'm starting a new job tomorrow and am not sure if I should take it until I know how they may effect me. Should I wait until this weekend to start?

Hi Wendy,

Tramadol is most commonly used for treating moderate to moderately severe pain, but has a wide range of other applications, including treatment for restless leg syndrome, acid reflux, and fibermyosis.

If you're starting a new job of any kind, I would probably suggest waiting till you get off work to experiment with how these medications really affect you deep down. This way you can at least be more comfortable going into work knowing whether or not you can safely perform tasks under it's influence.

Hello. I'm on 5-325 for low back and leg pain. It Does Not Work. It seems that Doctors and Pain Management doesn't think my pain is bad enough to give me something that will relieve my pain. After all, with such high dosage of acetaminophen why not just take Tylenol????
