Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5 325 And Hot Flashes?

I've been prescribed Hydro/Acetaminophen 5 325 for back pain. I have taken it a few times since prescribed and felt nothing but hot flashes. Is there something wrong with me?

No, that doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong with you, not every medication works for everyone that tries it, that's why there are usually several to pick from in any given therapeutic category.

You just may need to discuss it with your doctor and possibly try a different medication.

The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
