Hydrocodone 7.5-325 Mg Tablet

I had some teeth pulled the other day. I was in some really bad pain and finally got my dentist to prescribe some hydrocodone for me to take yesterday. I took one pill yesterday morning and experienced severe dizziness, nausea, and weakness from it. Later on in the evening I broke the pill in half but experienced the same symptoms. Is this a sign of a reaction to it or just side effects. Any help will be appreciated.

Those can be normal side effects, since Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that you may also experience headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming.

Have you ever taken this medication, before? Have you taken any other opiate narcotics, before?
