Hydrocodone 5 325 After Taking 1000 Mg Tylenol

Had a tooth extracted and I took two 500 mg of Tylenol. Can I take a 5 325 Vicodin three hours later?

Hi Mark! You just need to be careful of the amount of Tylenol ( acetaminophen) you take. It gives you instructions on the Tylenol bottle as to how much you can take. Remember that the Vicodin has 325 mgs in it too, from what you said.

If you take more than 650 mg of tylenol, you have to wait at least 6 hrs before taking any more tylenol, that includes the Vicodin. Do not take more than 1,000 tylenol every 6 hrs or more than 4,000 tylenol is a 24 hr period.
