Anyone think this is just as effective as Vicodin and Watson etc? Thanks :)

Not even close. My pain seems the same. I've taken two at a time and it's had no effect at all.

Yes, I have really suffered in pain this month on tris pharma and will never try them again. My chiropractor is making a lot of money this month LOL more than his usual amount. I told my pharmacist and he said he will not order them next month. I actually have a science degree, and I looked up the background of Watson which is now owned by Teva pharmaceuticals (originally out of Israel) they seem top-notch! And they produce Watson. Thank you for your reply :-)

Please correct me if I'm wrong Kitty, but didn't Watson acquire Actavis and change their name to 'Actavis'? (Re: actavis.co.id/id/news/Watson+completes+Actavis+acquisition.htm). I didn't know they were now owned by Teva... These manufacturers get around so much it's hard to keep up with who's who anymore LOL.

Something else I wanted to add in response to the original post about the G 037 Hydrocodone/Apap was that because each individual tends to react/respond differently, my thoughts are that the only true way to assess Rx efficacy is through your own unique personal experience of trial and error with each brand, generic, & manufacturer. There are rare exceptions, but our different body chemistry, drug tolerances, age, weight, diet, etc, all seem to play a role in how well we metabolize and assimilate the active/inactive ingredients.

No!!! All the Walgreens are probably getting a huge kick back. I am on Norco 10-325 for 2 years now. Walgreens used to have Watson 853 that would take the pain away from degenerate discs in my neck back surgery that Dr messed up the double knee replacement I am going through and my hip replacement 2 months ago. They switched to Tris pharma and after taking these my pain has intensified and it feels like I'm going through withdrawal all day. I don't know where else I could go to get something that would work. But if you need to be on Norco for pain call around and DO NOT take or accept Tris g037 which is supposed to be 10-325, but they ARE NOT.

When the pharmacist said that G037 was the same as the yellow Norco they were wrong. I don't know if it's just me but I have to take two now to alleviate my pain. And now I experience a weird 20 minute euphoric high while I'm at work. Additionally, As if that weren't bad enough is soon is the high is over the pain is back and I need to take another pill. These are not the same and quality at all I've had to take more of these pills than the yellow ones. I've actually thrown up, maybe from the amount of acetaminophen in them and the fact I'm taking more. Maybe they are not dense enough and dissolve too quickly??? Anyone??

Re: Former Stuntman (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

You are correct, the yellow one's seem to be as twice as strong as these G037 pills. My personal opinion.

Been on extremely high doses of narcoticsbfor years thinking it was helping me function all while it was actually causing me to function less n less and be more depressed and I had basically laid in bed for 3 years. For the last 8 months I have dropped well more then half of my mg prescribed at my highest dose. It's been hell but I am soooo much better. Anyways I have been on activas hydrocodone for at least the last 8 months and just yesterday my Dr wanted me to fill my Rx at a certain pharmacy. So glad I did. I am very watchful on what manufacturer I get my norco from because I have had really bad results with absorbing. My new script is from Tris Pharma and the relief I get from one 10/325 tris is near double what I got from 2 7.5/325 activas. Everybody absorbs differently but this one is amazing for me. I just dropped another 10mg between my long acting and short acting and so far I am doing better then I have with any other dose decrease.

Stunt man, I agree with you about the yellow norco having a better effect on pain. These white pills do absolutely nothing for my pain. Unfortunately the pharmacy trys to save money and the consumer suffers for it.

I agree, they are nowhere near as strong as the yellow ones, it sucks they don't give me those anymore.

I believe it totally depends on the person every ones body reacts differently personally the G037 work better for me then watson853 so the only way to find out is try them

I have been taking Norco for a few years now after having a spinal infection and have been taking m367 pills. My last refill was a g037. After taking one in the morning and one 4 hours later I started to lose my voice. By the end of the day I had a bad sore throat. I tried looking up the full ingredients list as every pill will supply you however Tris the manufacturer of the g037 will not include a complete list. I find this highly suspicious. I welcome your input.

Re: KC (# 16) Expand Referenced Message

Hmmm, it's a bit tricky to answer what percentage of a drug contains a particular ingredient because each ingredient works differently.

For instance, I could say that the % of Hydrocodone in milligrams as part of the active ingredients is 10 mg / (325 mg + 10 mg) which is 2.4% of the active ingredients in mg. But that wouldn't be a very useful calculation, simply because the 10 mg of Hydrocodone works differently than the 325 mg of Acetaminophen.

Another thing to consider would be the inactive ingredients in the Tris formulation. DailyMed lists them as:

- Croscarmellose Sodium
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Silicon Dioxide
- Stearic Acid

If you could clarify what you are trying to determine with your question, maybe there is some other information that would help too.

I was once an athlete, horse woman, working in the legal arena, federal, state, private sector. Volunteer Search & Rescue (CO), Minutewoman (San Diego Co), transitioned to IT Tech. Many accidents. Old, resigned due to limitations. Was prescribed 3, 40mg oxycontin. January 2016 went generic. I quit cold turkey which was horrible. I want to control my pain, but cannot... I am broken. Realizing I need something, I tried the 5/325mg dose 3x daily. Two sort of helped me in the a.m. but began bruising and bleeding if I got scratched in the garden, weeding, etc. So in my last appointment I asked for 10 without so much ibuprofen. I got these. I can't believe my pain is WORSE. Any suggestions? I went to a psychologist for sanity approval for medtronic but he convinced me that it would go into my spine causing more pain. I'm part Native American as well as LDS (mormon). I never processed some binding agents so the generic scares me. I feel agitated, phoned Doc, lost connection. Hurting so bad and need advice. Not really familiar with others who have similar issues. I do not want a "high", I want relief.

Re: Rachel (# 10) Expand Referenced Message

People, ask your pharmacist to order the kind you need. If they will not then change pharmacies. I cannot tolerate anything but the yellow ones. All others cause such severe stomach pain that I may as well not have the script. I cannot and will not take anything other than the yellow ones.

What percentage of hydrocodone do the 10/325 have in them by generic manufacturer Tris?

I absolutely believe these are like thoe old blue ones with the v cut in them. The have a chalky feel and start melting imminently. I would take these g037's a thousand times before those hatd yellow narco. I hate the yellows! In my opinion they never work. These are good for 4 hours maybe 5. But thats usually the dose.

Where did these G037 come from? Are they better then the M367?
