Hydrocodone 10/325 New Pill Color White Instead Of Yellow (Top voted first)
UpdatedMy pill for hydrocodone 10/325. Is white, oblong and had 3601*v imprinted on it. Just got it from Walmart. Is this the correct pill? I am used to taking the yellow oblong.

Many people here on MedsChat are saying the same thing about these V 3609 white pills being less effective. I think Post #1 is right about the white ones lacking efficacy all across the board from one manufacturer to the next. I've noticed a growing trend in action - Actavis's generic norco for example has received a lot of controversy ever since Watson's name left the picture and they made the pill white. Now it looks like Qualitest joined hands in the movement. They say only the yellow dye has been removed, but it seems only someone who's never taken it before might fall for that excuse. If you're able to, see if your doctor will write down on the prescription, a specific tablet imprint/manufacturer that you've had success with in the past. This may be the best way to ensure that you continuously receive a working brand.
Yeah I got mine today and to my surprise they were white not yellow but very similar except for the white is V 3609 and the yellow is V 3601. I was dissapointed because I hate the white ones no matter what brand. I hope they don't stopped making the yellow like watson did. Now they serve u watson 853 in white!
Re: Tito80 (# 1)
I picked up yesterday my medication. I could hardly believe it, yellow oblong with the V on it 3601, which I remember from years ago. I've been taking Norco 16 years. I have not seen the Watson/Qualitest in a long time...several years. I was surprised to see them back and it's a good thing because these are the best generic ones. I can only hope my pharmacy will continue to carry them. They have been using the Lupin generic which is better more effective than Amneal and Aurobindo and the others. But still Lupin sucks, it's not the most effective. These 3601 are the best Generic in my opinion. My pain can be a roller coaster sometimes because the Pharmacy is constantly changing generics. Luckily, for 2020 they mostly used only Lupin but had Amneal for a month or two which was horrible and one month had Aurobindo which is just as bad. My guess and it's only a guess, I thought Qualitest stopped making Norco? I guess that is why I was surprised to see Yellow Oblong 3601.
