Hydrocodone 10/325 Amneal Vs Mallinckrodt

Hello, I have been on Norco 10/325 for several years and Watson then Quailtest always worked great. I go to a small pharmacy and they can no longer order Quailtest. They had Tris till this year and I liked Tris also. They will let me pick from whatever they have and that is Amneal, Mallinckrodt, or Camber. The Camber made me sick.

So what would you choose between Amneal and Mallinckrodt? I know the reviews aren't great for either on here, but do you prefer 1 over the other? They told me they could also order other generics if I let them know. Thanks for any suggestions.

When I had to have my dental work done, I had good results with the product from both of those manufacturers, but to me, it did seem that the Mallinckrodt worked a little faster.

The FDA warns that Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Can anyone else chime in with their experience?

How can two companies have the same M367 imprint on the generic NORCO 10/325? AMNEAL and MALLINCKRODT? AMNEAL is NOT gluten free.

Both qualitest (par in NY) & watson (some co in brazil) were sold par. Closed the qualitest facility in alabama & stopped making them but remained making their inferior hydrocodone recipe they make in NY ..... Don't have much info on the watson buyer ..... it really is disappointing that companies that save $ by making crap buy the companies that make quality product & they discontinued the better product because they are cheaper to make (obviously due to not using proper amount of main ingredients & since the govt started a war on narcotics scripts they don't enforce quality control). Makes me wonder if the govt is not the force behind street opiods. Why else would they go after the safer prescription meds pushing chronic pain patients into the street drugs? Things that make you go hhhhhmmm

Wow, you too? I took one of the Camden (sp?) pills and immediately felt it burn my stomach. I had no help with my complaints on the prescription and had to continue taking this nasty stuff for the entire month. When I went in for my monthly lab test, I asked the staff to check my urine because it felt like I had a raging UTI. When the results came back, they said there was no sign of a UTI, but it showed my white blood cell count was off. I looked up the company, and there was an aerial shot of the company and it was located in the jungles of the Philippines. I read some reviews on them as well, same complaint as us. Scary medicine!

Camber is a US company based in NJ and their plant is in TX. You must have looked up a similar name but that isn't them.

Amneal made me feel sick unlike Mellinkrodt.
Rather go with Mallinkrodt brand.
Try and see.
Amneal seem not be to consistent with their tab ingredients.
I have been on Amneal for last 3 months and finally requested to be put back on Mellinkrodt.
They are still not the best but dont make me sick and work bit better for pain.

These side effects are so negligible and not even noticeable.
Short term tooth pain you should be fine.
I have been on them since 2015 for chronic back and shoulder pain and no issues.
Keep dose low and use only as needed.
Initial euphoria might make you like it advise take at night first time.
Remember its for pain not make you feel good artificially.
They euphoria you can get as well from exercise and supplements.
If you only have short script for certain pain use it and end the course.
