After surgery today, I have taken 3 generic 5-325 mg, 1 every 4 hours as presribed. I did find that a side effect may be itchiness, which I have to an extreme, as the night went on & addit'l doses. But I also can't sleep, even though a side effect is drowsiness! It's 4:30 PST so no pharmacy is open. Can anyone help???

It can have the opposite effect in some people, though it is rare.
This was posted a few days ago, so have you contacted your doctor by now?
This just may not be the right medication for you to use.
