Hydrochlorothiazide And Telmisartanside Side Effects

My mother is 85 and takes co-pritor. she had a constant irritation in her throat and starts coughing so much that she cannot hold a conversation. Is this a side effect of Hydrochlorothiazide and Telmisartan?

Hello, Celeste! How is your mother doing?

Yes, it is most likely due to the Telmisartan in this and once that cough usually starts, it doesn't go away. She'll most likely need to switch to a different medication.
