Hydrochlorot Tab Acc Vs Hydrochlorothiazide Cap Myl

My husband has been taking Hydrochlorothiazide cap Myl. He just got a refill and noticed it is Hydrochlorot tab Acc. Both are 12.5 mg. Are these the same medicine?

Hi Joan - I am pretty sure that "Hydrochlorot" is just an abbreviation for the full name Hydrochlorothiazide.

And based on the abbreviations that you shared, it sounds like the first version he took was a capsule from Mylan (NDC 0378-0810), and that his refill now contains the tablet from Accord (NDC 16729-182). Does the following image look like his current script?

HCTZ 12.5 MG ORAL TABLET / ACCORD

Color: Orange
Imprint: H 1



If so, then my assumptions are correct. If NOT, is there any way that you can share the color and imprints on the new prescription?
