I'm 7 weeks pregnant and have thrush. My doctor gave me canex v to use. However when I got home the leaflet with the dasage and directions were not in the package. How often do I have to insert the cream and for how long? Once a day at night? Also is this safe to use during pregnancy?

Hi. I have vagianl thrush and it is itchy and burning when I go to urinate. I've been taking V Canex but it only gets better for a day or 2 and then comes back again. Any idea why?

I am hoping you can help with some advice. I went to the doctor and explained that I have had an irregular period, but am not pregnant. I will basically start my menstrual cycle, but then the next day it is gone ... then 3 days later it might come back for one day but then stop again. So they prescribed Canex V and I am just wondering if it could help to regulate my menstrual cycle and how long I should take it?

Hello, Shwele! How are you?

If it is occurring during, or after urination, then you may have a bladder infection, or a urinary tract infection, which would require an antibiotic, so no Canex V would not help with that.

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Have you consulted a doctor?
