I take 15 mg morphine 3 times a day. It's not helping anymore and I was told to not just stop taking it. How should I work my way off of it?

You may need a higher dosage, or to try a different medication. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as constipation, dry mouth, headache, nausea, and dizziness.
If you really want to stop taking it, a slow taper is best and your doctor should be able to help you set up a proper and safe schedule for doing so.
Are you on any other medications?
