How To Stop Bleeding While Using Plavix

I'm a new Plavix user and the second night I was on it I picked at a couple of skin tags which started bleeding. I didn't snap to the fact that Plavix was going to make the bleeding difficult to stop and ended up bleeding all over the bed sheets that night. I researched the issue and found that potato powder was advised. Can anyone tell me if this is a good product to use and is there anything better? I am a tennis player and I am concerned that something might happen while playing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Bleeding can be a side effect of Plavix, according to FDA reports, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and easy bruising.

As to minor bleeding, you can buy styptic pencils, and styptic powder in most drugstores that can help, but for more severe bleeding, you will need to seek medical attention. Most EMS services carry supplies to help you in such situations.
