How To Spot Fake Xanax Bars (Page 4) (Top voted first)

I received my script from an M.D. at an online site. Noticed that this time on the tabs (2 mg white bars - xanax) that there were no numbers or letters imprinted on tablet. It is scored on both sides.

Do the green ones have wedges...I have seen a few green xanax bars that have the wedges and not flat on one side!

i live in cali and was recently given a fake 2 mg white xanax with the X-ANA-X and a 2 on the other side, it was fentanyl and i had been drinking since i did not know that i had been laced, woke up in the ER the next day with doctors telling me i shouldn't have survived and that my tox scan showed it was fentanyl... looked real as hell too

Most likely it is fake. One way to tell is by taste. I have been prescribed Xanax for 10 years. I can tell by taste and if the pill doesn't have all of the numbers and markings that it should have, there is a 99% chance it's fake.

A few years ago I heard a story about a Russian detox (alcohol) drug being remixed into long Xanax pills like you describe.

Same here .. Theyre faking the green ones and the white ones all day out here.. Smh .. I just get the yellow ones now or the whites if they lookn Ryte.. But F*** them green ones all these pple are getting by the bundle... I wont touch them... They're putting something in em to make you drowsy and if you wanna believe hard enough you'll be under the impression that your Xanned out.. But thats that placebo effect s***... Plus the taste of that real xanax can never be mistaken. It Lingers.. I chew all my xanax now just to make sure. lol

Simplest way to tell if their fake is to break it in half and touch it too your tounge and if it's chalky tasting then its fake, it must have a bitter taste to be xanex.

I have an app that shows the V's are 100% real n have been taking Xanax for years so I think I know the taste of them by now and the v's are bitter they have a coding which Xanax should have if you get a Xanax with no coding it's 100% pressed. I get the GG 249 ones prescribed and also the green ones ( the green ones are fake if the S on them has two large lines on each end of the S and are lighter than the others, the V-checks so far have all been legit so idk what your saying and I don't see a pharmacy giving you or me or anyone fake Xanax - that's impossible, because that's a HUGE lawsuit so if they're giving me fake Xanax then I'll have enough money to afford the company for a Xanax ha. It's a simple as this; if you don't know it's from a pharmacy or you don't look it up or no the taste of Xanax then you should be fine. ( No coating = fake ; they SHOULD be tougher to break& not crumble easily in your hand or when you break it....once their in your mouth chew a lil piece, if it's chalky n doesn't desolve nor taste bitter when u chew it ) ......GET YOUR MONEY BACK & PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE!!! ??

I had some Xanax with 2 on the other side. When dissolved in my mouth it took a lil while to taste the bitterness, but not the same bitterness as a blue one should taste. As a matter of fact a little gritty at the end too.

The best way to tell if your Xanax is real is by chewing a small piece of it. If it doesn't taste very bitter right away or takes a while for the bitterness to kick in, it's fake (pressed). Another way is by dropping it in a soda. It will fall to the bottom and start dissolving right away and rapidly, causing your soda to fizz up a lot. If it doesn't fizz or only fizzes a little then it is re pressed. Do both of these tests together to make your best judgement call.

Super super incorrect. Alprazolam are meant to be an acutely acting benzo. Thus they are designed to dissolve extremely quickly. Real bars (at least gg249's or g3722's will dissolve quickly in the mouth with that identifiable alprazolam bitterness and a hint of sweetness). Fakes are hard as rocks or dont dissolve quickly.

Just took a green s 90 3. I don't remember anything since yesterday morning and I didn't wake up until 3:30 PM today... Xanax doesn't so that to me.. They usually just make me hungry and I enjoy the effect n chill... This thing knocked me on my f****n ass.. So I'm a firm believer in what u said about the date rape drug lol...

Yeah the Xanax 2 bars are fake as f***. I live in Baltimore and that's all that's going around. I've seen thousands of them at once maybe close to 3000 of them pressed. After Freddie gray our city pharmacies got robbed so every block had um for a while. The green and yellow bars up here are fine and I've never had a problem. Just know your s*** make sure you look at what you get before hand. When there's a huge market for something like these Xanex bars it's just like Louie belts and bags and football jerseys, people are gonna make fakes at mass quantity and sell them a little cheaper. It's win win for them. it's sad people are that greedy but that's our society!

They use something called altezalam or some s*** and it's a whole different drug kinda like valium but more generic and fake. They aren't even close to the same and I hate the people who make them.

Reading this posts I've noticed specific areas have different results of fake ones. That being said I don't think anyone can garauntee they're real except for yourself. But every real bar I have taken is nasty to the taste, they have a specific nastyness.
