How To Get Subutex

How can I get around this new law on subutex I've been on it for 2 years and not suboxone for the simple fact I can't afford the suboxone I can fill my entire months prescription for less than 200 now I spend 200 for a weeks supply just because it has nalaxone...please help

Hi Calvin,

I'm a little thrown off by your title and description, because on one end it asks 'how to get subutex' and on the other it says that you've 'been on it for 2 years (and not suboxone)'....If not suboxone, did you mean to say subutex? It's all too easy to get confused between the two names sometimes so I just wanted to help clear things up for other readers as well.

I know you had also mentioned that you couldn't afford the suboxone as it was...Have you considered trying an Rx Savings Card to help cut costs? Apparently it can save you an average of 15-75% off at numerous locations.

If you're in true need of a specific medication, my thoughts are that maybe you can try to convince a compassionate doctor through expressing why it works best and maybe even explaining how suboxone has become an unaffordable treatment option... Just to see how the physician responds.
