How Often Apart Should I Take Clarithromycin?

Hi,

My doctor has prescribed Clarithromycin to treat pneumonia. Instructions are to take two pills twice per day, but does not say how often apart. I'm thinking 12 hrs, is this right?

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
