How Much Xanax Allowed In One Refill (nj)

I am going to France for 51 days and my physician has prescribed enough Xanax to take with me for the trip, but the pharmacy says it is not legal to dispense that much all at once. It is obviously impractical to return to the US for a refill. Is there some exception so I can go on this trip?

Depends on how the Doctor wrote the prescription. There might be too many pills allowed for travel. Perhaps the doctor can write for a stronger quantity. What does the label say, what reason did the pharmacist give you? I'd look up the law before going as you don't want to be without your medication
